A letter

Popularization note

A letter to Emanuel Justman from his family in Warsaw - from his sisters: Regina Justman and on a separate sheet Bluma Justman. The content: Regina Justman reaproches her brother that he should not idealize the past (Maybe you have already forgotten, but I remember clearly that also back then we were struggeling and complaining - and not illegitimately; see Emanuel Justman's later confessions from the last preserved letter to Paulina Włodawer, MPOLIN-A4.1.20). She writes that the current housing conditions of the Justmans in Warsaw (this is the period before the Germans established the ghetto) are not bad; about herself: I have new friends, new surroundings and I gradually forget about everything that happened before. At the top of the card, with a part of a letter from Bluma Justman, there is a note in another handwriting (addressee? Presumption of the time of writing the letter - written at the turn of July and August?): 1 / VIII.
