Rectangular medallion carpet surrounded by a narrow three-band borderline. The central field in dark blue is filled tightly with a motif of star medallions. In the central part, four so-called Median stars with fields in red (first and third), and in celadon combined with white (second and fourth) are arranged on the axis. The centres of the medallions are occupied by tarantulas, stepped lines and hooks in ivory white, blue-grey, light red, navy blue and celadon. The medallions in the two side rows are contained in squares with red fields, connected to each other by dark blue and white stepped lines. These lines are arranged in diamonds, crosses and hooks. The entire central field is filled with motifs in the form of strongly geometric animals (dog), stars, triangles, rhombuses. The whole composition is framed by a narrow three-band border. Its central strip is filled with a thin line of meander intertwined with a bird motif. The longer sides of the rug are reinforced with ivory-coloured wool, the shorter sides are finished with fringes. Weft and warp – goat hair fleece sheep wool, giordes knot, Azerbaijan, dated 19th/20th century.
