Part of the collection: Photography
The photograph comes from the album of the Lubomirski princes from Przeworsk. The photo was taken at the beginning of the German invasion of the USSR. The BA-10 is a Soviet armoured car, operated by a crew of 4 men and equipped with a 45 mm gun and two 7.65 mm machine guns. The car was produced at the Izhevsk Plant in the years 1938-1941. Production was halted due to the evacuation of the Izhevesk Plant to the east and the siege of Leningrad. The presented photograph shows the wreckage of this car, on the side of the road. In the background, behind him, other destroyed vehicles are visible.
