Photograph of an unrecognised man
1910 — 1919
Museum of the history of Polish Jews
Part of the collection: Photographs from the collection of Halina Kamińska (Mamelok) née Baruch
The study portrait of a man in jackboots, wearing a uniform jacket and a uniform cap; a ring is visible on the ring finger of his right hand. In the same hand, he is holding an unidentified object, and his left hand is resting on a fence as an element of the office scenography. It was developed on postcard paper; the template on the back is unsigned. One of the portraits from the collection about which it is difficult to formulate any hypotheses as to whose image they are and how they found themselves in the family archive.
