Allegory of Fire. The sculpture is part of a group of sculptures created by Jan Albrecht Siegwitz and Jan Adam Karinger between 1729 and 1734. It was originally located in the palace garden in Brzezinka near Oleśnica, from where it was moved around 1950 to the palace gardens of the Museum in Wilanów. In 1961, the entire group was transferred to the Castle Museum in Łańcut, where it was exhibited in the western part of the park, and in 1999, it was moved to the inner courtyard of the castle. Currently, the sculptures are located in the Carriage House.
The sandstone sculpture depicts a pair of standing and embracing putti. Their silhouettes are covered with drapery. The putto on the left rests its left foot on a cannonball from which a flame emerges. A cannon barrel is also visible behind the cannonball. The putto holds a pistol in its hands, resting it on its raised leg and against the putto it is embracing. Behind its head, the hand of the other putto is visible, holding a partially preserved, small object.
