Officers

In the home garrisons, the brigade units trained soldiers intensively, especially as many reservists who reached a high level of proficiency in summer and autumn left after partial demobilisation.

    The photograph DRM 1901_117 dates back to 1938–1939. Photo DRM_1901_117 shows Col. W. Cieśliński, commander of 10th Mounted Riflemen Regiment and regiment adjutant Lt. M. Czarnecki during summer exercises. Officers are wearing cloth uniforms, with forage caps on their heads. The spurs on the regiment commander's boots are visible really well. In the background, there is a PF 621 truck with the carrying capacity of 2.5 tonnes, which was used e.g. to transport riflemen and lancers.
