Coachman's hat Livery coachman's hat in the form of a cylinder in black satin felt with long flowing bristles. Stiff, flattened cylindrical shape with a flat bottom and a small, slightly upturned brim trimmed with black rep. Above the brim is a gold gallon with a braided pattern, flanked by a flat bow fastened with a brass metal buckle. 19th/ 20th c.
