Part of the collection: Metals

Popularization note

Small frying pan from the collection of the Potocki family, made of copper sheet, dating from the 19th century, most probably manufactured in Austria. Cylindrical pan, round in shape, with raised rim. A steel handle is attached to the edge with three rivets. The handle is lightly curved, quite long, with a hole at the end for hanging the pan. On the side of the pan stamped letters “A.P.” under the count crown and the numeral “5”. The pan is tinned on the inside. It is exhibited in the Eastern Corridor of the second floor, where copper wares (vessels), which are mainly the remains of the castle kitchens that have not been preserved, are gathered.
