Part of the collection: Photographs from the collection of Halina Kamińska (Mamelok) née Baruch
The photograph of Halina née Baruch Mamelok with her recently born daughter in a swaddling blanket; the mother, sitting on a chair with an ornamental backrest, wears a dressing gown with floral motifs. Halina can be noted on the back (probably explaining where she got the doublet): This photograph was sent back by Anabella 1958. We do not know who Anabella was, but if it was she who signed the photograph - and this is likely - it was in the same handwriting as letters written to the Mamelocks from France (MPOLIN-A25.1.57, 58) from a person signing as Stryjenka. The two upper corners of the photograph are cut off, the lower-left corner is also slightly cropped. | PK
