Part of the collection: Photographs from the collection of Halina Kamińska (Mamelok) née Baruch
It is a humorous picture - a photograph for which the family was acting out a romance scene (and a class scene - a butler courting a maid, both of them caught by a lady). In the photograph we can see Józef Mamelok and his sister-in-law Bronia (Bronisława) Mamelokowa. All that is according to the description of the photograph taken by Magdalena Mamelok as a child and, years later, by Halina née Baruch Mamelok (Kamińska). Bronisława Mamelok, Mirosław's wife, is visible in the doorway. We do not know who the woman in the foreground was. No photograph of Mirosław Mamelok, the husband of Brona, brother of Józef Mamelok, has survived in the collection. | The photo is glued on black cardboard, bottom left corner is torn off | PK
