Pitcher – jug A pitcher in the form of a jug, from the collection of the Potoccy family; it is made of copper and stems from the 19th century. The container, shaped like a cylinder narrowing towards the top, has a spout, cover and ear. The base has the form of a small plinth, the upper part of the body is profiled, with the spout raised. The cover is fixed on a hinge, round, domed, ending with a knob on a ring. On the side of the body, an eye is riveted on, in the shape of the letter S, widening in the middle. On the body, one can clearly see the spots where the sheet metal is joined together. The pitcher is tin-coated inside. The discussed jug is displayed in the Eastern Corridor on the 2nd floor, where copper products (dishes) are collected, mostly remains of the presently non-existent castle kitchens.
