Part of the collection: Metals
Beer container made of copper sheet, from the museum’s collection, 19th century. A barrel-shaped container with a hinged two-part lid and a decorative hinge in the middle. The barrel is decorated at the bottom and top with convex rings. Round base, wider than the barrel body. Inside, the barrel is divided by a vertical wall into two chambers – for dark and light beer. Two brass taps are attached to each chamber from the outside. It is currently exhibited in the Eastern Corridor of the second floor as part of the collection of almost 300 kitchen utensils, most of which come from the unpreserved kitchens of the Łańcut Castle.
