Alfred Antoni Potocki, 1920s. The photograph depicts Alfred Antoni Potocki, the 4th ordinary of Łańcut, and his mother, countess Elżbieta Potocka nee Radziwiłł, wife of Roman Potocki, during their trip to north Africa at the end of the 1920s. Alfred Potocki is wearing a white linen jacket, darker jodhpurs, a neck tie and shirt, and a white hat; he is standing, holding riding gloves and a whip, his head turned to the left. Beside him, on the right, stands Elżbieta Potocka with her head high, in dark attire, and a veiled hat, which is falling onto her arms on both sides; in her left hand she is holding two brushes for chasing away insects, and an umbrella; her right hand is raised above the hat brim. Behind them are males wearing fez hats. In the background, a natural landscape with a rocky hillside. Aldona Cholewianka-Kruszyńska
