Female`s nude

Roman Kramsztyk's female nudes drawn with a sanguine touh are not only sketches for oil paintings. Many of them are independent works in which the artist tried to keep the model in a dance movement or, as in the Female's Nude from the POLIN Museum collection, to capture her grace and sensuality. This image of a seated woman, outlined with a subtle line, was donated to the collection by the artist's cousin, Mrs. Danuta Szachańska from Canada.
