A small bronze sculpture depicts a soldier in full gear.

The presented figure is dressed in the uniform of Austro-Hungarian soldiers from World War I, as evidenced by the headgear with a characteristic button with the letters FJI (Franz Joseph I). A soldier equipped with full gear is depicted in a winter scenery, which is confirmed by the way he protects his hands from the cold under a warm coat, while holding a rifle under his arm. The feeling of chill is intensified by the upturned collar of the coat covering the lower part of the face and the coat parted by the wind. An additional confirmation of the winter scenery can be seen on the basis of the sculpture, where the snow depicted sculpturally covers the soldier's boots. To ensure a clear reception of the composition, the artist placed the inscription "WINTER" on the back of the base. On the calves, the soldier has characteristic, long wrappers, which came into use in the Austrian army at the end of 1914, thus replacing straps and cloth leggings.

The sculpture comes from the Potocki collection and it is exhibited in the Ordynat's Office.
