Part of the collection: photography
Photograph. Okapi, Africa, 1924. Photograph depicting an okapi lying on its side, shot during a safari on the White Nile in 1924 as organised by Alfred Antoni Potocki, the fourth ordinary of Łańcut. To this hunt he invited his brother - Jerzy Potocki, cousin Roman Potocki of Antoniny and Derazne, Benedykt Tyszkiewicz of Czerwony Dwór, Adam and Zygmunt Zamoyscy from Wysock. The African trophies of the ordinary from this safari hang in the harness hall at the castle carriage house. The okapi trophy is not found there – it belonged to another hunter.
