Roman Potocki. End of the 19th century. The photograph depicts the third ordinary of Łańcut, Roman Potocki (1851-1915). He was the older son of Maria, nee Sanguszko, and Alfred Józef Potocki, from whom he inherited the ordinariate in 1899. Together with his second wife, Elżbieta nee Radziwiłł, he conducted grand refurbishment, redevelopment and upgrade works between the 19th and 20th centuries of the Łańcut residence, the city and the entire agricultural and industrial plant of the ordinariate. The ordinary is sitting on the edge of a pot of one of the orange trees standing in front of the main castle façade, along the front walls. Aldona Cholewianka-Kruszyńska
