On foot, on a stagecoach or maybe by boat? To a neighboring city, European capitals or to an unknown continent. Man has always been curious about the world. Getting to know it, however, took place gradually, along with the development of knowledge and means of transport. Much has changed over the centuries, but one thing has remained the same - travel educates, including virtual ones. So let's go!
Alps – the highest mountain range in Europe lying in several countries, incl. Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Switzerland. The highest peak is Mont Blanc.
Inkwell – a vessel for ink commonly used before the invention of the fountain pen and ballpoint pen.
Steersman – a sailor who directs a ship.
Jews – followers of the religion known as Judaism; for centuries they settled in many places around the world, incl. in Poland. In 1948, the state of Israel was established, in which many Jews live.
