Part of the Łańcut Park. Moat

Part of the collection: Photography

Popularization note

The Łańcut park was redecorated by the third ordinary, Roman Potocki, and his wife, Elżbieta nee Radziwiłł. Ordinaries employed many professional gardeners, including a landscape designer. The photograph depicts a fragment of the Łańcut park, outside of the moat, with a group of artificially formed small rocks, ferns and bonsai in cache pots. This corner, thus arranged, with the bonsai added in the summer, made the park more picturesque. Aldona Cholewianka-Kruszyńska
