Part of the collection: Photographs from the collection of Halina Kamińska (Mamelok) née Baruch
Halina née Baruch with her aunt, Ewa née Wolffsohn Koralowa, on the balcony at 4 Nowosienna (later Sienkiewicza) Street in Warsaw; in the background the tower of the building of the Gebethner and Wolff publishing house (for more information about the house and the view from the balcony, see note to photo MPOLIN-A25.1.34). The collection includes three photographs taken on this balcony and many other images of Ewa Koral herself, including photographs with letters. The Coral family had two children: Ignacy, childless, and Antoni, who later was to married Luta. Luta and Antoni Koral had a son, Tomasz. He was the only child in the Koral family of that generation. He died in the Warsaw Uprising. After the war, Luta Koral worked in the Polish Writers' Union at Krakowskie Przedmieście St. in Warsaw.
