Part of the collection: ceramics
The quadrilateral platter is a part of a dinner set produced in the Porcelain Factory in Ćmielów. It was founded in 1790 and initially, as a small manufactory, produced earthenware and then faienceware. In 1838, it began producing porcelain and has continued doing that today.
The platter has a quadrilateral shape. Its walls expand upwards and bulge slightly. The spout is slightly elevated. One side of the platter is decorated with a large bouquet of a pink rose, blue forget-me-nots and smaller gold flowers which covers the flat area, the wall and the spout. Two smaller bouquets are located in the corners on the opposite side. At the bottom underside, there are visible factory marks: C in triangle, 2 and a stamp 758.
