Part of the collection: Craft and industry products of Szczecin
The card consists of 4 rectangular ivory plates joined together with a brass rivet. The upper edges of the plates are cut in the shape of an arc, convex in the central part and concave on the sides. The card case is in the form of a flat rectangular box with a hinged lid on the narrower side. The wooden box is covered with mother-of-pearl tiles with engraved and gilded decoration, with motifs of a vase in a round medallion topped with a bow, panoplies, flowers and butterflies. The lid on one side was decorated with a garland and a majuscule inscription: SOUVENIR (souvenir), on the other a decorative element composed of fruits and leaves and the inscription: DAMITIE [d'amitié] (friendship). The edges of the lid and the box are faced in silver with an engraved pattern.
