Alfred Antoni Potocki and Elżbieta Potocka, 1920s Photograph depicting Alfred Antoni Potocki, 4th ordinary of Łańcut, and his mother, countess Elżbieta Potocka, nee Radziwiłł, wife of Roman Potocki, in a bicycle rickshaw, during a trip to North Africa towards the end of the 1930s. Alfred Potocki is wearing a dark tennis coat and shirt and a panama hat, he is sitting, arms crossed, head turned towards the right. Beside him, Mrs Potocka, wife to Roman, in a blight pleated short-sleeved dress, pearls on her neck, and long white gloves, and a dark hat with a large brim, her right leg on her left. Behind them, the rickshaw driver is partly visible – a young man, with a dark face, wearing a white shirt with his shirt arms rolled, and a dark vest and dark cap. The rickshaw has four bicycle wheels and its body is made of wicker. A palm is in the background. Aldona Cholewianka-Kruszyńska
