Part of the collection: Ceramics
A cylindrical mug, slightly tapering towards the top, with a separate strip on the belly with single, seven mythological figures, including Hermes, Jason, Poseidon. This strip is held by rings - lower and upper, with embossed late-Renaissance ornamentation. The base and edge of the mug are accentuated with profiling and are decorated with single, diagonal lines, separated by dots. Semicircular handle with a floral motif, a movable tin hinge mounted on the handle, finished with a knob. The tin lid is slightly convex, in the middle there is a round plaque depicting St. George fight with a dragon enclosed in a framing with a floral ornament. Under the framing, there is an inscription in majuscule: "BET RECHT ZU GOTT ER HILFFT AUS NOCHT", which means "pray well to God, he will help you in your troubles".
