Boulle style boudoir cabinet clock made in the 18th century. A room clock designed rather for a small living room. The mechanism with ringing full hours and half hours system, it has a dial with Roman numerals on distinctive enamel medallions. A wooden cabinet with brass inlays and bronze ornaments with floral motifs and gilding. The clock cabinet is glazed, with molded sides, on volute legs, surmounted by a pedestal with a full-plastic figure of a putto holding an arrow and a bow. The surface is decorated with floral-geometric marquetry, also covering the console, the floor and the inside of the back door of the clock. At the bottom of the front panel there is a motif of two winged cupids, one of whom is sleeping upon a column, while the other wakes him up with a bell. At the top of the clock, there is a figure of a boy holding a falcon in his hand. The back brass wall is also decorated with a floral motif. The embossed brass dial is inlaid with white plaques made of porcelain and bearing dark blue Roman numerals.
