Chinese vase

The vase is made of thick porcelain with the body with a bulge in the upper part, extending into a wide narrow neck in the upper part finished with a curved plate. Two handles on the neck in the shape of dragons. Decoration in the "familie rose" color scheme - on green-white background flowers, peach fruits and birds. In two large planes multicharacter scenes from the legendary story of the "Six Dynasties". At the bottom a trail of stylized chrysanthemums on a blue background. On the neck of the vase, figural scenes set in architectural interiors. Interior of the vase is turquoise-green. The belonging of a particular vessel to one of the group style depends on which color of enamel was used in it as a base for decoration, in this case the base is pink. Famille rose type decoration began to be used in late 1720s. The best examples of this type of porcelain come from Yongzheng period (1723-1735). At the end of the Kangxi period pink color began to be used for painting flower petals on porcelain. This decoration became so popular in Europe that during the Rococo period, porcelain of this type was frequently imported to our continent. China, export ware to Europe, 19th/20th century.
