The National Museum in Kielce is one of the oldest museum institutions in Poland, with origins dating back to 1908. Its main seat is located in the former Palace of the Kraków Bishops – a unique Baroque residence from the Vasa era. The museum holds rich collections in the fields of painting, sculpture, decorative arts, numismatics, archaeology, and natural history. The museum includes five branches, among them the Henryk Sienkiewicz Palace in Oblęgorek and the Museum of the Dialogue of Cultures. It actively combines tradition with modernity through a wide range of educational and exhibition activities.
