The letter from Dawid Zylbert to Mieczysław Małkowski in Polish, on two checkered sheets. In the heading Dawid Zylbert writes: for the whole Małkowski family Mieczysław and wife and daughter Ewa and granddaughter. Later in the letter he refers to a recent meeting years later: We were very happy to have found you it was for me especially the most important thing in my life and we all sat and cried together in that meeting; he closes the letter with the words: temporarily I am finishing my short and first letter to you, it may be with mistakes [...] a long time I did not write in Polish.
