Part of the collection: Krystyna Sigalin (Pajes) heirlooms
The photograph of Krystyna Sigalin during her stay with Feliksa Szulc, under an assumed name, at the house of the Górkiewicz family, whose child she was taking care of. On the reverse, there is a description in the hand of Krystyna née Sigalin Pajes, in verso; the annotation probably dates from the early 21st century: "1943, holidays near Warsaw with the Górkiewicz family (who hid me in their house, Warszaw Nabielaka Street [illegible]) | On the photo Krystyna Sigalin, born 1931 | daughter of Hanna (née Haftke) | and arch. Roman Sigalin (Aron Jakub) | a well-known Warsaw architect (1901-1940) | Krystyna, married Pajes, born in 1931. Sigalin, bore the "wartime" names 1942-45 | - Wanda Gorczyńska | - Barbara Sujkowska | - Barbara Szulc".
