Bronze figure of a deity seated in lotus position on a throne chair without backrest. The figure is clad in a long robe, with decorative armor or jewels (?) on the chest. Face full, rounded, nose straight, eyes closed, mouth in half-smile. On head crown resting on long hair separated at back into two strands. Bare arms. A flower on the left shoulder and a bird on the right shoulder - attributes of the deity. The right hand rests on the right knee, the left hand is raised in a mudra gesture. A sash is thrown over the hands. The lower part of the throne is decorated with an ornament resembling the petals of a lotus flower. Patinated and engraved bronze. China, 17th/18th century.
