A portrait of Joanna Kramsztykówna
ca 1933
Museum of the history of Polish Jews
Part of the collection: Photographs from the collection of Halina Kamińska (Mamelok) née Baruch
The photograph of an approximately two-year-old girl with a white bow pinned up in her hair (light), wearing a white dress. It was developed in a round frame, with a white margin, on cardboard with an atelier logo on the obverse and an impressive company print on the reverse. Side edges are trimmed probably for insertion into an album or frame. A laconic handwritten annotation by Stefania Maybaum (Marzyńska), née Grossman, most probably does not allow the identification of the portrayed child.
