Photograph

The portrait photograph of an unrecognised man. The bust is captured in the profile. He is dressed in a white shirt and a dark tie; he has a short haircut, smoothly shaven. Perhaps this is a fragmentarily preserved photograph - evenly cropped: in the upper right corner of the obverse, there is probably a fragment of a letter, perhaps an inscription began there before the print was cropped? In view of the lack of preserved inscriptions or signs on the photograph and the fact that the man does not resemble any of the people in the collection, it is impossible to formulate any hypotheses as to who he was or how his photograph came to be in the collection of Halina Mamelok (Kamińska, née Baruch).
