Part of the collection: Letters written by Dawid Zylbert to the Małkowski family
The letter from Dawid Zylbert to the Małkowski family on two sheets of ruled paper. Zylbert thanks Magdalena Stopa for her book Ostańce and apologizes that he did not meet with the author to talk about his life in the ghetto, because in those years my head was not interested in anything but the fact that I wanted to stay alive and where I would find some underground bunker to sleep in and what would be tomorrow completely unknown. At the end of the letter he writes about a fire on a bus in Haifa carrying 45 officers - what can you do, we must now return to our normal lives from day to day.
