Part of the collection: Letters written by Dawid Zylbert to the Małkowski family
The letter from Dawid Zylbert to the Małkowski family on a sheet of lined paper, enclosing a photocopy of an honorary diploma for Mieczyslaw Małkowski. In the letter Dawid Zylbert asks the addressee: Ewa, I am very interested in why you were not invited to the evening of all those who helped and hid Jews during the war and who received the medals of the righteous among the nations of the world, which took place in the consulate in Warsaw about two months ago [...] I read in the newspapers in Israel there were about 200 war heroes there. The answer to this doubt is quite obvious: if Mieczysław Małkowski had lived, as a rescuer he would certainly have been invited to the ceremony.
