Part of the collection: Photography
The church of St. Mary Magdalene in Nowosielce (in the Przeworsk district) was erected in the second half of the fourteenth century. In the place of the present church, there was a defensive castle. In times of frequent Mongol invasions, this church gave shelter to the local inhabitants. This temple is a wooden building, set on the top of a hill in the eastern part of the village. The roof is covered with shingles. Over the centuries, this building has undergone successive reconstructions and modernizations. The photo comes from the album of the Lubomirski princes from Przeworsk.
