Family photograph of the Baruchs and the Wolffsohns in the Alps, with a letter to Bronisław Koral
c. 1910
Museum of the history of Polish Jews
Part of the collection: Photographs from the collection of Halina Kamińska (Mamelok) née Baruch
The photograph of Stanislaw Maybaum (Marzynski) on a blanket in front of a house with wooden stairs. The child is about two years old. The upper right corner of the photograph is damaged. In the case of other Będzelin photographs from the collection (see MPOLIN-A25.1.15 and 16), it is possible to formulate an assumption that one of the photographed children is Stanisław Maybaum (Marzyński). If the hypothesis is correct, he may also have been photographed here in Będzelin - the Maybaums (Marzyńskis) may have come for a summer holiday from nearby Łódź, where they lived. The visible fragment of the house, the stairs, is similarly overgrown with greenery as the space of Będzelin in other photographs.
