Portrait of Ignacy Cetner painted by an artist originating from the school of Sylvester Augustus Mirys (1700–1774). The painting was created in Poland in 1746. It has the shape of a vertical rectangle. It has dark, subdued, very warm, brown and beige colours. The portrayed person is depicted down to his hips. The man's face is oval, full, with a high forehead, thin light eyebrows, large blue eyes, a prominent straight nose and full, slightly parted bright carmine lips. His complexion is warm, slightly golden with soft blue shadows; cheeks, nose and chin are pinkish. His hair is heavily powdered, short, curly, light-coloured, combed back from the forehead and covering the ears. The man is wearing in a dark cuirass with lames and a riding frock coat with decorative rolled cuffs. He has a white scarf under his neck. At the waist, the cuirass is girded up with a decorative cord. At his left side, he has a handle of a short weapon. The portrait background of is dark brown, lighter around the person. The painting has a wide, wooden, profiled, gilt frame decorated with an applied ornament of stylised acanthus leaves with cabochons on them. The entire frame is entwined with volutes. On axes, there are vertical and transversely stylised shells with rocailles and cock crests.
