Part of the collection: Photography

Popularization note

Photograph. Julin, 1930s. Photograph depicting a bird’s eye view of the hunting residence of the Potocki count family in Julin near Łańcut. It was erected in 1880 by the efforts of Roman Potocki, the future 3rd ordinary, subsequently expanded by him, as continued by his son, the 4th ordinary, during the interbellum of the 20th century. Julin was famous for its picturesque architecture, hunting atmosphere, enormous volume of trophies. Summer months were spent here on hunts, as were some Autumn seasons. The photograph shows the hunting palace, the Manager house and partially the Kitchen House, including the vast park with grass plains (Julin included a tennis court and golf course). c.
