Saddlecloth

Saddlecloth Summer saddlecloth in beige cotton fabric with red and white check, purchased by the museum. Trimmed at the edges and stitched in the centre with a narrow red gurt. It has a pair of buckle-fastened leather straps, oval sewn-on leather patches and a sewn-on crupper of red-and-white circular cotton cord, tied to loops on the underside of the cloth. Cloths numbered S.10111MŁ and S.10112MŁ form a pair. 19th/ 20th c.
