Part of the collection: photography
The rectangular photograph depicts a young woman shown down to her knees. Both her arms are lowered down. She holds a fan in her hands. Her hair is pinned up at the back of her head with a fringe styled on the forehead. On the head, she is wearing a richly decorated diamond diadem. In her ears, there are diamond earrings. The woman is wearing in a light-coloured long dress decorated with dark fur at the neckline. Her neck is surrounded by a necklace of precious stones. Both her wrists feature bracelets. A wide ribbon runs over the woman's right shoulder. At her left breast, there is a star order. The bottom right corner has a black-ink inscription: “Marie”. The reverse is covered with cardboard. The reverse centre has an attached support for placing the photograph upright. It was acquired from the collection of the Potocki family of Łańcut in 1944.
