Fireplace bellows The fireplace bellows was used to keep the fire in the fireplace going, and was part of fireplace equipment. The discussed bellows stems from the Potoccy collection, from halfway through the 18th century; it is richly decorated, made of wood, gilded bronze, and a fabric. It is made out of two wooden walls, joined by a saffian bag that folds together in the form of a harmonica. The bellows terminates with a funnel-like nozzle of gilded bronze, completely covered in rococo ornamentation. Both walls of the bellows are styled as trefoils, terminating in oval grips, to be held in hands. One of the walls is richly decorated with an overlaid rococo arrangement of gilded bronze. The wall edges are covered in burgundy velvet. At the centre of the nozzle the letter B is embossed. The bellows, along with other fireplace equipment, is displayed at the Rococo Chamber on the first floor of the castle.
