View of Łańcut Castle The painting, executed in an interesting technique (the so-called lean tempera), deriving from the collection of the Potocki family, former owners of the Łańcut Castle, presents a view of the Łańcut Castle from the 19th century. Unfortunately, the author of the painting remains unknown, while the painting was dated at the second quarter of the 19th century and presents the castle from the northern side, with the library pavilion visible on the right hand side. On the left hand side, the composition is enclosed with a group of trees, and on the right by two coniferous trees with a cross on a foundation between them. In the foreground, there is a semi-circular park alley and a bed with decorative bushes. A fragment of defence walls is visible on the left hand side. The castle is presented in the background, with two semicircular flower beds with decorative plants in front of the northern facade. The castle building displays warm tones of light beige, the flower beds and the trees are celadon, yellow and green, while the park alleys are in a light beige colour. The top of the painting presents blue sky covered with white and grey clouds, slightly pink at the horizon. The painting a simple wooden slat frame can be admired in the Room Under the Views on the ground floor of the Łańcut Castle.
