The hands are tucked into the folded sleeves of the mantle and feet are tucked under the robes, barefoot. Full face, broad nose, eyes closed, long mustache and pointy chin, large ears, hair combed smoothly at the back of the head, long, flowing to mid-back. Tortoise entwined with a snake at the feet of the deity - symbolizing the northern side of the world. Traces of gilding on the mantle. The figurine dates to the 18th century, China.
