Time of origin: wall construction – 1629-42; wallpapers – 1911

Description:
The room is located in the northern wing of the second floor of the castle; it is rectangular, almost square, in plan. The room has two square windows in the northern wall, with a segmental arch at the top. In the windows, there is a fence with the height of one third of the reveal and wooden Viennese shutters (?). The southern entrance to the room leads from the northern corridor through a small hall. The entire eastern wall is occupied by three segments of a wooden wardrobe with three double-leaf doors. In the room there can be found a plastered, two-storey masonry stove with a profiled cornice and a washbasin with running water, from the time of reconstruction of the castle at the turn of the 19th. The walls are covered with wallpaper with floral decorations and a parrot motif in white and red tones, from the beginning of the 20th century. The floor is covered with oak parquet arranged in a herringbone pattern. In 1802, this room was occupied by a French emigrant who saved his own life escaping from France thanks to the help of Duchess Lubomirska. In the mid-nineteenth century, the room was a part of the "Middle Suite". During the time when the owners of the castle were Roman and Elżbieta Potocki, during a great renovation, a small corridor was created next to the room on the south side, connecting the second floor with the Women's Dressing Room on the first floor. The current arrangement of the interior comes from the post-war period.
