Ink bottle Ink bottle from the Potoccy collection, French (Paris), from the first half of the 19th century. The single-block full crystal glass ink bottle, cube-shaped, with cut edges, bottom ground to a diamond pattern. Inside the item, there is an ink holder, hollowed out and ground, reaching half the height of the item. The ink holder terminates with a silver, round, profiled and hinged cover. The cover inside is gilded. The ink bottle formed most likely a part of a larger desk writing set, it can be presently seen on the desk at the Music Library,
