A floor clock in a three-part longcase type cabinet case, comprising an overlapping hood which houses the mechanism with clock face, a slightly narrower body with narrow side door, set on a high plinth supported by four block feet housing the pendulum and weights. The hood with glazed door and side panels. The top of the hood is topped with a decorative dashed cornice. The surface is veneered with walnut. On the front wall of the body there is an inlayed composition of a ribbon ornament. In its upper part there is an acoustic hole. The mechanism has a weight drive, a hook drive and a long, heavy pendulum. A separate drive operates the clock and calendar mechanism, a separate drive operates the hour movement. Clock with indications of seconds, minutes, quarters, hours and days of the month. On the dial there are silvered indication rings: the main ring with indications of hours, half-hours and minutes. A separate small ring is placed in the inner field of the dial (above the axis) with seconds indications. In the lining of the dial a calendar window with the number of the next day of the month is visible. The clock has open-work hands. The surface of the lining has a gilded relief decoration with regency motifs.

The clock has a stamped AR ownership mark under the crown, linking it to the Saxon court.
