Part of the collection: Outfit
A fan made of peacock feathers with an inflexible structure, not the possibility of folding. It has a carved handle made of ivory. In the place where it joins the feathers, there is a decorative, string rosette.
As a symbol of affluence, refinement and coquetry, the fan reigned supreme in the salons of high society and royal courts throughout Europe. Its golden age was in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Without a doubt, it was one of the attributes of a lady.
