The attachment of the founders of the Hartwig Kantorowicz Vodka and Liquor Factory to Jewish tradition can be seen, for example, in some of the bottles. On the top of a bottle of Allasch Orlow cumin brandy (one of the distillery's most popular products), which can be found in the POLIN Museum collection, features a fish inscribed with a Star of David, the symbol of this particular brand. Apart from Wyborowa vodka and Allasch Orlow cumin brandy, Hartwig Kantorowicz was also famous for the production of Mandarin Ginger and Podbipięta liqueurs (the prototype of today's Żołądkowa Gorzka), as well as juices and marmalades. In 1920. Franz Kantorowicz sold the factory to a bank in Poznań; as a result, the company's name was changed to Hartwig Kantorowicz Successor. In 1927, Wyborowa produced by the company became the first registered vodka brand in the world and, at the same time, the first Polish vodka export. During World War II, the company was taken over by German management. After the war, the company was nationalised, and in 1968 it was liquidated. The item is a gift from Tomasz Najder.
