Part of the collection: Zuzanna Kofta's works inspired by stories of hiding Jews
The depiction of the scene of Efraim Urman's arrival in hiding at the home of the Siek family. Efraim Urman survived the extermination of the Jews of Krzeszów by the Germans on 2 November 1942 and hid in the forest for a month, but finally decided to ask for help the Siek family, with whom his parents had had close contacts before the war and who had helped them with provisions during the war. He came to them soaked, without shoes, in only his socks; he had a wounded ear since the massacre in Krzeszów.
