Appetizer plate with count's crown
2nd half of the 19th century
Castle Museum in Łańcut
Part of the collection: Ceramics
A plate made of fairly thick, milky white porcelain, similar in shape to a crescent or kidney, with a narrow edge, which on the larger side- semicircular arch of the crescent- has nine rounded indentations- longer and shorter. The plate is decorated with a golden count's crown located in the middle on a shorter axis, below the edge. It is painted from a stencil in iron red colours. The plate forms a set together with the other 23 pieces of this type. France, Paris, 2nd half of the nineteenth century.
